Gearing Up

I'm going to Seattle this weekend to see my mom and one of my best friends in the whole world, Allison.  It was sunny and beautiful here today and I hope the same weather is in the weekend forecast up North because nothing can beat a sunny day in Seattle. I am very much in love with our little slice of heaven that is Portland, OR but I often miss my pretty hometown and am excited to move back after I finish school.

I went into Anthropologie today to return the sweater my mom got me (it was too big) in hopes of getting something equally beautiful to wear this weekend. I had absolutely no luck, I was so overwhelmed by how many beautiful things were there and was constantly discouraged that even with my store credit that they were all out of my price range. Sigh. Above are some of my favorites tops.

I apologize in advance if I'm not back around these parts this weekend. Like I mentioned above I get to see Allison this weekend, and we'll be very busy getting our fill of all our favorite Seattle spots. Allison goes to Colorado State University and I rarely get to see her stinkin' face anymore. We bonded over a fart (yes, a fart. it's a long story but it is ours and I'm proud), became gym buddies, realized we loved all the same music, and have been the best of friends since. This picture is us before a really unforgettable rafting trip in Canada. I am SO EXCITED to see her.

See you all tomorrow for a really sweet Friday Favorites before I make the 3 hour trek!
